Theft rises, economy falls.

READ THIS BEFORE READING BELOW

In times of desperation theft is the last option of a desperate person. This desperate person may be member of different class. Even the richest person will commit theft. Wanting this valuable or priceless thing in possession. There are reasons why this kind of crime happen. And this happen anywhere, anytime, to anyone. The very two basic cause of this crime is poverty and unemployment. In desperate measures, people tend to steal things that can be pawned, sold, or even steal money from the bank. Just to attend their basic needs and even wants. Why theft can happen? Because of low security. Thieves can just steal something and run away.

Theft can affect our economy. Although its just a pinch to it. Sometimes it hurts like a low blow to our country. First thing is that our own citizens will be forced to migrate in other cities or even migrate in other countries. Just for the sake of the security of their assets. Second is that tourism in this country will fall. Because of some thieves tend to target tourists when they visit our country. Sometimes by just simply outwitting this foreigners who asks for guidance. Even in the airport as they arrive, theft is already planned to happen for them. Third is that consumers of a certain product where it is hot to thieves tend to decrease in demand. Consumers won't buy or will hesitate to avail this product which is hot to thieves. And lastly, stolen things doesn't have taxes. Then thieves doesn't pay taxes. It's funny because, even the government who is supposed to resolve this crime or just even find a way to lessen this crime happens to do this crime also. Stealing money from the people. Don't you wonder if everyone is equal? Everyone is rich and nobody is poor? Everyone has a good pay job? Life would be easy and happy.

There is also a good side of this theft. When thieves pawn or sell what they have stolen. Pawnshop will earn net income and that pawnshop will pay taxes. Not much of a good thing but it helps I guess.

What would I tell or suggest to prevent this crime is that they should prevent unemployment. Give everybody a good job for them to provide themselves what they need. And tighten up security! Command these security agents to do their job well! And I guess everyone should learn self defense. So that they could defend themselves in situations like this. Then crime would lessen. Right?
